A focus on...

We have been focusing on different aspects of our gym

and letting you know a little more about it.

Our Pre-School Gymnastics

We have Pre-school gymnastics classes for children aged 3years - Reception age, which are held on:

Thursday 1.45pm - 2.30pm

Friday 1.45pm - 2.30pm

Each class is a structured session incorporating all of the Olympic gymnastics equipment. The individual areas are designed specifically for our Pre-schoolers with a focus

on balance and co-ordination whilst having fun on "the big apparatus that my brother & sister use" quoted by one of our little gymnasts!

The sessions are lead by a fully qualified level 3 Pre-school gymnastics coach & assistant coaches. This enables us to keep the groups small, allowing time to help our little gymnasts progress at their own pace and feel happy trying new things. Grown-ups can sit and watch their children work with a coach during the session, but are then encouraged to join in with a cool-down game at the end.

Our Pre-school gymnasts work towards our own Certificate scheme, which progresses through movement and skills and will lead them onto our Recreational program which they can join when they start to attend Big School.

The cost for a sessions is £3.50

We understand what busy lives our children have, so all of our Pre-school & Recreational gym classes are Pay-As-You-Go.

Our Summer Holiday Gymnastics Activity Sessions

We have been having great fun at our Summer Gym Activity Sessions. The children have been enjoying time spent learning new skills and improving existing ones on the Beam, Bars, Floor, Trampoline, Vault, Trampet, Rings & P-Bars.

Our coaching team have also been introducing some of our new children to the amazing sport of gymnastics. Some of these children have never done any gymnastics before and it has been great to ...see these new gymnasts wanting to return to the gym to learn some

more.

We have also been focusing on the important area of sport that is Teamwork.

Our gymnasts were split into groups to take on challenges to help their team mates travel across the floor area in different ways with different scenarios presented to them.

Lots of fun and smiles showed and new friendships were developed too.
